What you will do

  • Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and manage closing processes.
  • Lead, train, and mentor the finance team, including workload allocation and performance reviews.
  • Coordinate annual budgeting and forecasting, monitoring performance against budgets and analyzing variances.
  • Maintain internal controls, safeguard company assets, and coordinate with external auditors for deliverables.
  • Monitor cash flow, accounts payable/receivable, and approve payments within delegated authority.
  • Identify and implement process and system improvements within treasury and operations.

Requirements

  • Experience in a similar financial supervisory role.
  • Degree in Accounting and Finance or an equivalent qualification.
  • Proficiency in English and advanced experience working with Excel.
  • Experience with VAT and tax regulations specifically for Cyprus companies.
  • Experience managing a small accounting team and reviewing the work of junior members.
  • Proven ability to undertake tax, financial reporting, and VAT projects.
