Salary: $140,000 - $215,000 per year

What you will do

• Design and develop cloud-native microservices for the Next-Gen SIEM platform, focusing on detection capabilities.
• Collaborate with Data Science and Research teams to implement scalable systems for behavioral analytics across massive datasets.
• Drive technical decisions and architectural choices for well-defined projects using collaborative tools.
• Integrate and utilize Go, Kafka, Redis, OpenSearch, and PostgreSQL to build robust, scalable solutions.
• Optimize system stability, performance, and reliability using monitoring tools like Grafana.
• Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and code reviews while participating in the technical interview process.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of experience in software development with a focus on cloud-native architectures and distributed systems.
• Strong proficiency in Go (preferred), Python, Java, or C#.
• Experience designing and implementing scalable data processing systems.
• Understanding of security concepts and threat detection methodologies.
• Must be based in or able to work hybrid in Austin, TX.

Nice to have

• Experience working in cybersecurity or intelligence fields.
• Familiarity with SIEM or log management solutions.
• Experience with Kafka, OpenSearch, Redis, and Spark.
