What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance services for core Framework systems.
• Implement and enhance protocol support across various networking layers.
• Contribute to technical design discussions and author clear architecture documentation.
• Collaborate with Product and platform teams to translate business requirements into scalable engineering solutions.
• Investigate and resolve complex production performance issues through root-cause analysis.
• Mentor junior engineers through code pairing and knowledge-sharing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related STEM field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in delivering production software.
• Strong expertise in C and C++, with proficiency in Go and Python.
• Deep experience with Linux systems, including multithreading, memory management, and IPC.
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, packet processing).
• Proven ability to debug complex issues using gdb, coredumps, and performance tools.

Nice to have

• Experience with network protocols such as HTTP, SMB, Kerberos, TLS, or Microsoft protocols.
• Exposure to AWS or distributed systems.
• Experience with observability practices and on-call production support.
• Scripting experience with Python.
