What you will do

• Build backend and middleware services to process real-time sensor, telemetry, and AI/ML data streams.
• Develop and maintain cloud-native applications using AWS services and modern software architectures.
• Lead DevSecOps activities, including CI/CD pipeline development, automated testing, and deployment processes.
• Create unit, integration, and automation tests to validate functionality and system performance.
• Collaborate with architects and AI/ML engineers within an Agile/SAFe framework.
• Produce detailed technical documentation, design specifications, and API guidance.

Requirements

• B.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 4+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in Python, Fast API, AWS, Oracle OCI, Kubernetes, Docker, Web Sockets, and REST APIs.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.
• Must be a US Citizen to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kafka, MQTT, AWS Kinesis/AppSync, or GraphQL for high-velocity streaming data.
• Expertise in microservices development and Infrastructure-as-Code.
• Familiarity with MBSE tools like Cameo and DOORS NEXT.
• Background in AI/ML explainability visualizations or streaming real-time video.
• Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Developer Associate, or CISSP.
