What you will do

• Establish AI-first culture via internal playbooks and golden-path templates, measuring success through DORA and SPACE metrics.
• Implement AI cost management, token budgeting, and security guardrails including PII redaction and audit logging.
• Develop and document reusable patterns for AI-assisted code generation, PRs, testing, and debugging.
• Conduct POCs for AI tools and provide recommendations based on ROI and technical merit.
• Manage AWS infrastructure, including API Gateways and LLM pipelines, integrated with GitLab CI/CD.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in platform engineering, DevOps, or developer experience.
• Hands-on production experience with LLM APIs and AI developer tooling.
• Proficiency in Python for automation and AI workflow integration.
• Strong experience with AWS (Bedrock, API Gateway) and IaC (Terraform, Helm).
• Experience in AI tool governance, vendor assessment, and cost management.
• Must be based in the United States

Nice to have

• Experience with LLM Agents, RAG pipelines, and vector databases (pgvector, Pinecone, etc.).
• Knowledge of prompt orchestration frameworks like LangChain or LlamaIndex.
• Background in financial services or insurance compliance regarding AI data handling.
• Expertise in AI security threat models, including OWASP Top 10 for LLMs.
