Vehicle & Manufacturing Architect (Automotive): Leading the integration of vehicle architecture, manufacturing processes, and design vision to deliver world-class vehicle programs. Focus on driving cross-functional collaboration, optimizing BOM re-use, and ensuring total vehicle integration through technical leadership and strategic decision-making.

Location: Must be based in or able to relocate to Warren, Michigan. This role is hybrid and requires reporting to the office at least 3 times a week.

What you will do

• Serve as the single point of leadership for architecture, surface integration, and cross-compartment collaboration.
• Lead and harmonize engineering and manufacturing imperatives with the creative vision of the design studio.
• Drive the success of Engineering with Simplicity (EWS) metrics and decision-making processes.
• Advocate for occupant accommodations, including visibility, spaciousness, and driver ergonomics.
• Manage virtual integration, math sync points, and virtual reviews to ensure design viability.
• Develop and mentor a strong team focused on best-in-class vehicle integration.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or a relevant field.
• 10+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• Deep knowledge of GVDP and global vehicle engineering efforts.
• Proficiency in CAD systems and math creation processes.
• Strong business acumen across product, manufacturing, purchasing, and marketing.
• Must be able to legally operate a motor vehicle and pass a Motor Vehicle Report review.

Nice to have

• Master of Science Degree in Engineering.
• 12+ years of experience in a related field.
• Supplemental manufacturing experience.

• DFSS Black Belt certification.
