What you will do

• Manage the content team's schedule, balancing bandwidth and ensuring timely delivery of all projects.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of writers, contractors, and assistant editors.
• Write and edit high-priority content to set and maintain editorial quality standards.
• Conduct client discovery interviews to capture brand voice and define content direction.
• Serve as the primary point of escalation for complex client content issues.
• Champion the integration of AI tools into the content creation process and direct internal content marketing initiatives.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional editing experience, including at least 2 years in a management role.
• Background in digital marketing, specifically content marketing within an agency environment.
• Demonstrated expertise in SEO content strategy and implementation.
• Proven ability to write and edit high-quality content while leading by example.
• Experience leading client-facing discovery interviews and managing client relationships.
• Strong leadership abilities with a focus on developing creative teams.
