Veterinary Technician III

Location: Onsite positions in Delray Beach, Plantation, Boca Raton, Jacksonville, Parrish, Coral Gables, and Winter Garden, Florida

What you will do

• Provide advanced veterinary patient care, including blood transfusions, oxygen cage care, cardiac monitoring, dentistry, wound care, catheter placement, and anesthesia monitoring for unstable or high-risk patients.
• Support veterinarians and practice team members by communicating patient updates and delivering consistent care under established SOPs and standards of care.
• Train and mentor team members and help handle client concerns.
• Serve as a PIMS administrative super-user and support effective use of integrated practice technology.
• Manage inventory needs, pharmacy responsibilities, and controlled-substance logs.
• Maintain clean workspaces, complete required training, and work weekends or travel when needed.

Requirements

• 5+ years of veterinary technician experience in a practice is preferred.
• Completion of an accredited veterinary technology program and current licensure are preferred.
• Ability to complete the Veterinary Technician III skills checklist.
• Strong client connection and compassionate communication skills.
• Excellent verbal, written, observational, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, self-directed environment and meet physical requirements including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, squatting, and kneeling.
