What you will do
- Establish and maintain carrier relationships through regular phone and email outreach.
- Negotiate rates and secure capacity to ensure on-time delivery of freight.
- Monitor shipment status and proactively handle issues like rescheduling and detention.
- Manage carrier profiles and maintain accurate data within the TMS.
- Develop expertise in spot market pricing and freight network lanes.
- Collaborate with internal teams to meet financial and performance goals.
Requirements
- Minimum 1-2+ years of professional experience in sales or cold calling.
- Proven track and trace experience in a logistics environment.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume sales environment.

- Prior experience in transportation or logistics industries.
