What you will do

• Oversee day-to-day operation and maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment in data center sites.
• Train and support the engineering team in equipment troubleshooting and operations.
• Perform root cause analysis of equipment failures and complete weekly reports.
• Manage large-scale, high-impact projects and new region support from conception to completion.
• Act as an escalation point for all facilities-related issues within the data center region.
• Ensure all safety procedures are strictly adhered to by vendors and AWS staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in a data center or other critical environment.
• Proven experience in data center engineering or operations.
• Experience in vendor management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Nice to have

• Electrical or mechanical Journeyman License.
• Operating engineering license such as DC II, DC III, or equivalent.
• Experience in construction or project management.
