What you will do

• Own and evolve the biosample procurement strategy, designing future expansion plans across various cancer types.
• Lead biosample procurement and serve as the primary point of contact for vendor relationships, including pricing and contract negotiations.
• Collaborate with ML, Engineering, and Therapeutics teams to strategically source samples that achieve company goals.
• Operationalize assay execution, streamlining sample accessioning and metadata querying to support data analysis at scale.
• Scale and optimize procurement and tracking processes to increase assay throughput as project complexity grows.
• Design and implement biosample operations processes for future internal and partnered clinical trials.

Requirements

• Advanced degree in biology or a related field.
• At least 7 years of experience in a similar biosample operations position.
• Proven track record in vendor management, including contracting and negotiations.
• Experience in human clinical laboratory environments or managing biosample operations within clinical trials.
• Strong project and data management experience within complex, fast-paced environments.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with FFPE tissues and histology laboratory operations.
• Experience with LIMS or other sample management software.
• Ability to use SQL for database queries or general coding experience.
