What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and tools using Python, C++, and Visual Studio.
• Develop and execute detailed test plans and cases based on requirement analysis in collaboration with R&D teams.
• Perform functional, regression, performance, and characterization testing across optical systems and networking platforms.
• Set up and operate optical test equipment and instrumentation to validate product compliance.
• Identify, document, and track defects while working with developers to isolate and resolve issues.
• Generate and present clear test reports and quality metrics to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Physics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in software or test engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Python, C++, and Visual Studio development environments.
• Experience with test planning and strategy development for complex technical systems.
• Must be based in Canada.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
