Validation Engineer (IPTV)

What you will do

• Collaborate with design teams to gain a thorough understanding of new feature functionality.
• Develop validation plans and design tests including unit, functional, performance, and security tests.
• Create and implement testing tools and specialized applications for API testing.
• Execute end-to-end testing and perform advanced analysis of defects to support resolution.
• Track identified bugs and maintain clear, comprehensive test documentation.
• Participate in project reviews within a Scrum-based organizational structure.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work in Châtillon, France (Hybrid).
• Degree from an engineering school or equivalent.
• 5–6 years of experience in hardware and software system validation.
• Proficiency in validation and verification processes, including drafting test plans and reports.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Shell, Python, or Perl.
• Working knowledge of technical English (both spoken and written).

Nice to have

• Experience with project management tools like JIRA and test management tools like Zephyr Scale.
• Knowledge of digital video and audio coding standards and streaming.
• Familiarity with IP network protocols such as UDP, RTP, RTMP, and IGMP.
