What you will do
- Lead incident response from detection through resolution and retrospective analysis.
- Coordinate global technical and business teams during critical outages.
- Assign incident roles and delegate tasks to participants.
- Organize post-incident recovery actions and manage customer communication.
- Mentor and develop IT Support Duty Team members.
- Improve company-wide monitoring, alerting, and incident management processes.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience handling significant incidents in a 24/7 high-load environment.
- 5+ years of experience in engineering, product, or service delivery roles.
- Must be based in Mexico or willing to relocate to Mexico, or remote within GMT-8 to GMT-3 time zones.
- Strong decision-making skills under pressure and ability to coordinate multiple teams.
- Technical aptitude in Public Cloud, Microservices, and monitoring systems.
- Clear and structured communication skills for interacting with C-suite executives.
Nice to have
- Experience in Fintech, SRE, or similar technical roles.
- Proficiency with AWS, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, and Kafka.
- Experience with incident management tools like incidents.io, Rootly, or FireHydrant.
- Experience coordinating with Legal, Communications, and Privacy stakeholders.
