What you will do

• Develop and maintain the gambling platform in a continuous delivery environment using open-source technologies.
• Collaborate with software architects and product owners to define technical specifications for new features.
• Implement APIs and integrations with third-party services to enhance platform functionality.
• Contribute to the engineering culture and share knowledge with the wider engineering team.
• Analyze user needs and requirements to ensure a high-quality player experience.

Requirements

• 5+ years of in-depth practical experience with Java and Spring.
• Must be based in or able to work from the UK (St Albans), Malta, or Gibraltar.
• Solid understanding of web application architecture and microservices.
• Experience with Kafka, Redis, Kubernetes, and AWS.
• Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools, including Grafana.
• Willingness to adopt and experiment with AI autonomous agents (e.g., Claude).

Nice to have

• Knowledge of other JVM-based languages, especially Kotlin.
• Practical experience with MongoDB.
