What you will do

• Develop features and fixes for a family of enterprise applications using Java, cloud, and automation technologies.
• Collaborate on the large-scale migration of technology infrastructure to Google Cloud Platform.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy resilient software systems to support production environments.
• Provide mentoring and technical direction to other developers to realize architectural designs.
• Conduct research and create Proof of Concepts (POCs) for new technologies.
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using modern test and delivery techniques.

Requirements

• Strong, demonstrable expertise in core Java.
• Proven experience developing software in a cloud-based environment.
• Ability to write clean, bug-free, and maintainable code.
• Bachelor's degree (honors) or equivalent substantial professional experience.
• Must be based in or able to work from the Belfast office.

Nice to have

• Experience within financial markets or exchange spaces.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD and Cloud operations.
• Proficiency with Atlassian tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
• Familiarity with modern Web APIs and associated technologies.
