What you will do

• Oversee the management of preconstruction processes and teams within the renewable energy market.
• Collaborate with commercial operations and field execution teams to facilitate estimating and project development.
• Partner with Directors of Construction to ensure smooth handoffs from bid to project execution.
• Monitor preconstruction schedules to keep engineering, estimating, and material procurement on track.
• Produce high-quality estimates and professional RFP submissions including contract terms, risk mitigation, and value engineering.
• Mentor teams on scope, schedule, and risk management to ensure accurate final pricing and contingency planning.

Requirements

• Four-year degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
• Must be based in the US with the ability to perform extensive travel.
• 5+ years of management, estimating, and procurement experience in the renewable market.
• Demonstrated knowledge of construction techniques, project financing, and legal contracts.
• Strong conflict management and leadership skills.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
