What you will do

• Manage the Group’s comprehensive insurance programs including liability, property, cyber, D&O, and transport.
• Lead insurance due diligence for M&A activities and integrate new assets into existing programs.
• Negotiate insurance policies and manage renewals to ensure alignment with organizational risk appetite.
• Optimize administrative processes including value collection, claims handling, and cost allocation.
• Provide expert risk management advice and guidance to internal stakeholders and group companies.
• Maintain strong governance frameworks and update internal policies to ensure full compliance.

Requirements

• University degree in finance, business, economics, or risk management.
• Minimum 5-7 years of proven insurance management experience in a multinational manufacturing environment.
• Business fluent in English and Dutch (spoken and written).
• Knowledge of Dutch insurance regulations and global insurance solutions including captives.
• Ability to pass a security screening and provide a Certificate of Conduct (VOG).
• Solid user knowledge of Microsoft applications and strong analytical skills.

Nice to have

• Certifications such as CPCU (Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter) or ARM (Associate in Risk Management).
• Prior experience in the defense industry.
