TL;DR

Cloud Solutions Architect (AWS): Designing and implementing enterprise-scale cloud-native architectures for federal digital transformation initiatives with an accent on distributed systems, containerization, and event-driven design. Focus on building scalable microservices, implementing API-first methodologies, and establishing DevSecOps automation pipelines for zero-downtime deployments.

Location: Remote (Must have Public Trust clearance and be based in the US)

What you will do

  • Design enterprise-scale cloud-native architectures using microservices and distributed systems principles.
  • Architect scalable solutions leveraging containerization (Kubernetes, Docker) and event-driven patterns.
  • Apply Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and API-first methodologies across enterprise applications.
  • Develop POCs and reference implementations using AWS services.
  • Implement CI/CD automation pipelines and zero-downtime deployment strategies.
  • Collaborate with engineering leadership to establish reusable architecture standards.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in DDD, Bounded Context patterns, and systems integration.
  • Deep expertise in API-first architecture and modern DevSecOps practices.
  • Strong experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, ECS, EKS).
  • Proven track record with distributed systems and enterprise-scale microservices.
  • Hands-on experience with Java, Python, Go, or similar languages.
  • Public Trust clearance is required.

Nice to have

  • Experience building enterprise API ecosystems and integration frameworks.
  • Ability to develop cloud-native prototypes and proof of concepts.
  • Strong understanding of security architecture and advanced DevSecOps.
