What you will do

• Process and apply cash payments against open Accounts Receivable for advertising and circulation accounts.
• Manage lockbox operations, handle error reports, and resolve payment exceptions.
• Perform detailed account research to provide advertisers with accurate statements and history.
• Reconcile bank receipts to A/R balances and conduct daily three-way matching between system, bank, and general ledger.
• Collaborate with the sales organization and outside customers to provide critical support and resolve balance questions.
• Maintain the A/R collections module in Circulation Systems and prepare balance write-offs.

Requirements

• Must be able to attend work on-site in Willoughby, OH during normal business hours.
• 1+ years of business experience.
• Knowledge of accounting processes and controls.
• Proficiency in Excel (using formulas) and 10-key data entry.
• Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail.
• Minimum of a GED or high school diploma; Associate’s degree preferred.
