What you will do

• Research, write, edit, and deliver high-quality news content using video, audio, and digital equipment.
• Present content across radio, TV, and online platforms, both live and recorded.
• Tailor news treatments to ensure output effectively reflects and engages diverse audiences.
• Maintain the highest editorial standards while delivering content to tight daily deadlines.
• Collaborate with team members and other hirify.global departments to share material and uphold best practices.
• Prioritize and plan daily activities considering resources, staffing, and deadlines.

Requirements

• Significant recent experience as a journalist with a strong knowledge of production techniques.
• Sound editorial judgment based on an understanding of the hirify.global's news agenda and audience needs.
• Ability to write creatively and adapt content accurately for various media formats.
• Flexibility and adaptability to sustain performance under pressure and changing priorities.
• Proven ability to build and maintain effective working relationships.
• Must be based in or able to work from the office in Douglas, Isle of Man.
