What you will do
- Break stories on distressed debt developments, from earnings deterioration to restructurings
- Write feature articles connecting daily news to broader market trends
- Generate ideas for new coverage situations and approaches
- Monitor markets using technology to ensure timely and comprehensive reporting
- Maintain a network of sources and manage story pipeline and deadlines
Requirements
- 2+ years finance reporting experience, preferably in distressed debt markets
- Inquisitive, outgoing, and personable for building connections
- Organized to handle sources, pipeline, and deadlines
- Clear and concise communicator able to simplify complex ideas
- Driven, curious, and self-motivated
