What you will do

• Act as the primary technical contact for clients, collaborating to bring a technical vision to life.
• Lead the strategic integration of AI technologies (AIFSD) across the software development life cycle.
• Assess legacy systems and identify pragmatic modernisation paths aligned with business outcomes.
• Champion best practices including TDD, pair programming, and clean code.
• Implement continuous delivery and DevSecOps practices to increase deployment safety and observability.
• Mentor and coach developers, fostering an inclusive and supportive team culture.

Requirements

• Proficiency in two or more languages (e.g., Java, Kotlin, JavaScript, TypeScript, Ruby, C#).
• Strong understanding of modernisation patterns and experience with complex legacy environments.
• Experience leading software development teams using Agile, Lean, or Continuous methodologies.
• Proven track record of exploring and adopting emerging AI technologies strategically.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical software requirements.
• Location: Must be based in Melbourne or Sydney, Australia

Nice to have

• Knowledge of cloud technologies such as AWS, Docker, or Kubernetes.
