What you will do

• Manage and lead the mortgage credit structuring and approval team, including hiring, coaching, and performance management.
• Oversee the existing credit book and ensure all mortgage lending processes adhere to the bank's risk appetite.
• Lead the analysis, structuring, and underwriting of large and complex mortgage requests.
• Collaborate with front office, legal, compliance, and senior management to implement credit solutions.
• Take ownership of the mortgage strategy implementation and related special projects.
• Continuously improve credit processes to enhance operational effectiveness.

Requirements

• University degree in Banking & Finance or equivalent higher education.
• 15+ years of proven experience in Swiss mortgage credit underwriting within the financial industry.
• In-depth knowledge of the Swiss real estate market and mortgage business for international clientele.
• Proficiency in German and English is required (French or Italian is an asset).
• Proven experience in managing a small team and a Swiss mortgage book.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to judge risks independently.
