What you will do

• Support and maintain OpenStack infrastructure, ensuring stable integration with storage services and overall platform scalability.
• Administer and optimize Ceph storage clusters, overseeing health, capacity planning, and performance tuning.
• Perform comprehensive Linux systems administration, including provisioning, configuration management, and patching at scale.
• Automate operational workflows using scripting languages and Ansible to drive consistency and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot complex, cross-platform infrastructure issues across storage, compute, and networking using root-cause analysis.

Requirements

• Solid operational experience with OpenStack and its integration with storage and networking layers.
• Demonstrated expertise in Ceph storage administration in production environments.
• Strong Linux systems administration skills for maintaining production environments at scale.
• Hands-on experience with automation, scripting, and infrastructure-as-code tooling.
• Strong knowledge of Linux and host networking for distributed systems.
• Work visa/immigration sponsorship is not available for this position.

Nice to have

• Experience with monitoring and observability platforms like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
• Familiarity with network infrastructure configuration (switches and routers).
• Knowledge of security best practices, including hardening and compliance.
• Experience with disaster recovery and backup strategies.
• Exposure to public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
