What you will do

• Lead requirements gathering, documentation, and the creation of traceability matrices
• Direct the development of system architecture and detailed design specifications
• Oversee functional, integration, and system testing to ensure operational requirements are met
• Manage team resources and perform Control Account Manager/Work Package Manager duties
• Mentor and lead engineering teams to foster a culture of continuous improvement

Requirements

• Australian citizenship and ability to obtain an NV1 security clearance
• Minimum 8 years of experience in systems engineering for complex military and software-intensive systems
• Tertiary degree in systems, mechanical, electrical engineering, or computer science
• Proficiency in systems engineering tools such as DOORS, Cameo Systems Modeler, or Cradle
• Deep understanding of systems engineering principles within an ASDEFCON context

Nice to have

• Professional certifications such as CPEng, ASEP, CSEP, or ESEP
