What you will do
- Conduct in-depth technical discovery sessions to understand customer environments and specific observability requirements.
- Deliver tailored product demonstrations and technical presentations that showcase solution value.
- Design, scope, and manage Proof of Concepts (POCs), documenting findings and presenting results to customers.
- Partner with Account Executives to develop and execute technical sales strategies throughout the sales cycle.
- Act as the voice of the customer by providing feedback to Product Management and Engineering teams.
- Develop technical sales collateral, including demo environments and best practice guides.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer or Solutions Architect in the software industry.
- Deep technical expertise in observability concepts (metrics, logging, tracing) and tools such as Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, Grafana, and ELK Stack.
- Proficiency with cloud-native technologies including Kubernetes, Docker, and major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for articulating complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Must be based in the UK and available to travel to client sites and industry events.
Nice to have
- Experience selling to Developer, DevOps, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) personas.
- Prior experience in a fast-paced, high-growth APM or Observability company.
