What you will do

• Lead U.S. regulatory and government affairs initiatives related to satellite communications and telecommunications policy.
• Prepare, submit, and manage FCC filings, licensing applications, and spectrum management documentation.
• Represent the organization before regulatory bodies including the FCC and NTIA.
• Provide legal analysis, regulatory interpretation, and compliance support across business operations.
• Partner with engineering teams and executive leadership on technical and regulatory strategic initiatives.
• Support international spectrum and satellite regulatory initiatives, conferences, and working groups.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active U.S. bar admission required.
• 8+ years of experience in telecommunications regulatory affairs or government affairs.
• Deep expertise with FCC licensing and satellite regulatory frameworks.
• Proven ability to independently draft and manage FCC applications and regulatory submissions.
• Must be based in the U.S. to manage domestic regulatory and government affairs.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with international organizations such as ITU, CITEL, or WRC activities.
• Prior experience in a law firm or in-house telecommunications regulatory role.
