Salary: $180,000 – $250,000 + Equity

What you will do

• Develop and ship product features end-to-end across the frontend and backend, from initial problem to production.
• Collaborate closely with founders and AI engineers to translate user needs and business goals into technical specifications.
• Take full ownership of the user-facing surface, ensuring high quality, polish, and intuitive user experience.
• Define learning goals and run experiments to measure results and determine the product roadmap.
• Coordinate cross-functional work across engineering, AI, and design to fill product gaps.

Requirements

• Must be based in or be able to relocate to San Francisco (On-site 5 days a week).
• Strong full-stack engineering experience shipping production software using TypeScript, Node, and React.
• Hands-on experience with NestJS (or similar opinionated Node frameworks) and PostgreSQL with ORMs like Prisma or Kysely.
• Experience working in an AI-first or LLM-powered product environment.
• Ability to write clear specs and communicate technical tradeoffs to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience building desktop applications with Electron or Tauri.
• Familiarity with Radix UI, Tailwind, and Tiptap.
• Experience with Next.js, Datadog, and identity providers like WorkOS.
• Comfort using SQL and dashboards for product analytics.
