Quality Manager

What you will do

• Develop and implement QA and Continuous Improvement programs to ensure product quality.
• Manage testing throughout production processes and provide data reports for improvements.
• Recruit, train, and supervise QA associates.
• Maintain Quality Management System, TL9000/ISO 9001 accreditations, and support other certifications.
• Interface with customers, regulatory agencies during audits and visits.
• Investigate field issues, customer returns, and implement corrective actions.
• Contribute to plant management team for business objectives.

Requirements

• BS degree in quality assurance, engineering, or related field with strong QA and Lean Sigma foundation.
• 4+ years in quality engineering in manufacturing environment.
• Proven QA techniques, Lean Sigma tools, supervisory skills in team-based setting.
• Excellent analytical, communication, planning, and execution skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and drive continuous improvement.
• Sound computer skills and manufacturing experience.

Nice to have

• Wire and cable manufacturing experience.
• Optical fiber or cable manufacturing experience.
• Six Sigma certification.
• ASQ Certification.
