TL;DR

Sr. Analyst, Product Analytics (Gamedev): Developing large-scale testing strategies and ML models for user segmentation and behavior prediction with an accent on causal impact measurement and experimentation. Focus on designing multi-dimensional test structures, mitigating validity threats, and optimizing product and revenue decisions through behavioral segmentation.

Location: San Mateo, CA. Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies.

Salary: $175,013 – $248,900 per year

What you will do

  • Plan and roll out large-scale testing strategies, including segmentation, global holdouts, and longitudinal studies.
  • Develop and deploy ML models (Random Forest, XGBoost, K-Means, etc.) for user segmentation, behavior prediction, and fraud detection.
  • Design and analyze experiments using A/B testing, multivariate testing, frequentist frameworks, and Bayesian experimentation.
  • Perform causal impact measurement and competitor analysis using quasi-experimental methods and time-series techniques.
  • Build and maintain ETL-integrated dashboards using Tableau or DOMO to validate metrics and support scalability.
  • Analyze digital user behavior and monetization analytics to uncover patterns for product and revenue optimization.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Business Analytics or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in ML modeling and behavioral segmentation.
  • Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and cloud-based data platforms (Databricks, Redshift, AWS S3, MongoDB, Postgres).
  • Experience with Adobe Analytics and Customer Journey Analytics.
  • Expertise in A/B testing, Bayesian experimentation, and mitigating validity threats (SRM, contamination).
  • Must be based in or able to work from San Mateo, CA.
