Location: Hybrid; Must be based in Mountain View or San Francisco, California

Salary: $175,000—$215,000 USD

What you will do

• Own the onboard infrastructure used by a 100-person organization to improve the hirify.global Driver.
• Enable high-efficiency workflows across the full development cycle, from problem identification to regression monitoring.
• Evolve the onboard architecture by developing high-quality interfaces that enable codebase scalability.
• Establish clear interfaces and development processes for developing and debugging the hirify.global driver.

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science, Robotics, or similar technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of Software Engineering experience with proficiency in C++.
• Expertise in engineering high-performance, reliable systems and interface design.
• Robotics and computational geometry expertise to manage foundational reasoning data structures.
• Must be based in or able to work from Mountain View or San Francisco, CA.

Nice to have

• Experience solving real-world robotics problems, specifically in driving or similar domains.
• Experience designing and implementing performant, highly reliable systems.
• Experience solving ambiguous problems at the intersection of technology and product.
• Knowledge of operating systems concepts including memory management, concurrency, and scheduling.
