What you will do

• Design and implement software for telemetry and video streaming to enable remote assistance and mission control.
• Develop algorithms and high-performance tools using C++ within a Linux development environment.
• Execute the full software development lifecycle using Lean-Agile methodologies.
• Perform root cause analysis, unit testing, and vehicle testing for deployed software.
• Build systems for data acquisition and analysis from remote vehicles in the field.
• Ensure software performance and stability through simulation and scenario testing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (5–7+ years experience) or Master’s degree (3–5+ years experience) in CS, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Proven expertise in C++ for algorithm development, system design, and high-performance tooling.
• Experience developing embedded software specifically for the automotive industry.
• Strong debugging and validation skills in an automotive environment.
• Understanding of automotive cybersecurity.
• Must be based in the US.

Nice to have

• Experience with ROS2 and video streaming (H.264).
• Knowledge of cloud interfacing and DevOps practices (Bazel, CI/CD).
• Familiarity with ISO 26262 and development of ASIL-compliant systems.
