TL;DR

Associate Director, Value Chain Analyst (Education): Managing the operational lifecycle of AP Reading and Exam Production with an accent on real-time workforce coordination and data-driven decision making. Location: Remote (USA). Candidates living near offices have the option of hybrid (Tuesday and Wednesday in office). Ability to travel 3-5 times a year is required.

Salary: $56,000 – $90,000

What you will do

  • Execute real-time operational fixes and respond to staffing gaps or system challenges during AP Reading events.
  • Monitor Reader participation and workforce attendance across onsite and remote environments.
  • Build and maintain dashboards, trackers, and reports to analyze scoring throughput and pacing.
  • Oversee the certification and technical delivery of AP Exams, ensuring they meet strict specifications.
  • Manage and audit large datasets to safeguard exam integrity and coordinate vendor hand-offs.
  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) documentation for continuous process improvement.

Requirements

  • Authorization to work in the United States for any employer.
  • Ability to travel 3-5 times a year to College Board offices or for business needs.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Smartsheet.
  • Proven ability to audit, validate, and manage large datasets under tight deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to perform decisively in fast-paced environments.
