What you will do

• Specify, procure, and validate press and automation system solutions for stamping plants.
• Perform design analysis of mechanical systems and manufacturing equipment.
• Collaborate with controls engineering, IT, and suppliers to define requirements and integrate systems.
• Analyze existing systems to improve accuracy, reliability, and overall performance.
• Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for technical issues.
• Develop technical documentation and support training for plant personnel on system operation.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing machinery, preferably with press and automation systems in stamping.
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, including hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Experience coordinating design and construction activities in automotive manufacturing facilities.
• Proficiency with MS Project and CAD tools (AutoCAD, Unigraphics, SOLIDWORKS, Teamcenter).
• Must have legal authorization to work in the US without sponsorship (no H1-B, OPT, STEM OPT, CPT, TN, J-1, etc.).
• Ability to legally operate a motor vehicle on a regular basis.

Nice to have

• 5+ years of experience in stamping, body shop, or assembly plant operations.
• Hands-on experience operating and troubleshooting industrial machinery or automation systems.
• Advanced study or Master’s degree in a related STEM field.
