What you will do

• Develop innovative electronic hardware and integrate products into system architecture, specifically focusing on power electronics.
• Create design layouts of electronic circuits and engineer specifications in collaboration with external partners and suppliers.
• Define equipment requirements and specifications with internal and external stakeholders.
• Perform initial prototyping for electromechanical and electronic assemblies, circuit boards, and systems.
• Conduct testing and verification against functional specifications.

Requirements

• BS/MS in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a comparable field.
• Approximately 5 years of experience in electrical systems and components within product development.
• Proven experience with power electronics.
• Familiarity with high voltage power supply design topologies, such as Switch Mode, Solid State, or Ferro-Resonant.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Gaithersburg, MD.
