TL;DR

Investigative Specialist (QA/Compliance): Auditing HR reports and outreach workflows to ensure accuracy and compliance in employment and income verifications with an accent on data consistency, entity matching, and professional communication. Focus on executing QA reviews, documenting discrepancies, and collaborating with leadership to reduce repeat errors and meet SLAs.

Location: Hybrid (expected in office 3+ days a week). Hubs in Denver, CO; San Francisco, CA; and Nashville, TN. Relocation stipend may be available for these locations.

Salary: $38,000 - $48,000 USD

What you will do

• Audit verification reports against QA rulesets to validate identity/entity matching and data consistency.
• Execute Outreach QA reviews on manual-source verifications (email, fax, phone) for cadence and professionalism.
• Use internal validators to confirm required fields and flag illogical data.
• Document QA outcomes (pass, soft fail, hard fail, warning) with evidence and rule references.
• Collaborate with Outreach and Transcription leadership to resolve discrepancies and coach teams.
• Support SLA and KPI attainment by reviewing queues and escalating risks on time-sensitive verifications.

Requirements

• Experience with or interest in QA, operations auditing, or compliance within background screening, HR operations, or similar data-sensitive environments.
• Knowledge of Truework verification workflows and Report QA concepts.
• Strong detail orientation, structured note-taking, and professional written communication.
• Analytical judgment to distinguish between different failure levels and recommend corrections.
• Understanding of FCRA-adjacent practices and secure data handling.
• Must be based in or willing to relocate to Denver, Nashville, or San Francisco.
