QA Engineer (SaaS)

Salary: $90,000 – $110,000 per year

What you will do

• Perform comprehensive software testing and troubleshoot features to ensure high-quality releases.
• Develop and maintain detailed test plans and functional documentation for software applications.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and leadership across the SDLC.
• Analyze log files and utilize API platforms like Postman for validation.
• Recommend and implement enhancements to current QA tools and methodologies.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident (no visa sponsorship).
• Must reside in one of the approved US states (CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, IL, KS, MA, MD, ME, NJ, NC, NY, OR, TN, TX, VA, WA).
• 5+ years of recent experience in Technical IT Support, Product Support, or Systems Engineering.
• 2+ years of scripting experience in PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Proficiency in at least two operating systems: Windows, Mac, or Linux.
• Experience with databases (PostgreSQL, SQL, MySQL) and Virtual Machines (ESXi, Hyper-V).

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in technology.
• Experience with computer network equipment and TCP/IP protocols (SNMP, UDP, ICMP, DNS).
• Knowledge of Jira and the Jira X-Ray extension.
• Experience with remote-control tools like TeamViewer, Splashtop, or AnyDesk.
