Location: 100% onsite in Jacksonville, FL. Candidates must reside in the Jacksonville area or be local to the region during the internship.

What you will do

• Conduct time studies, process mapping, and data collection to optimize manufacturing workflows.
• Develop and update standard work instructions, process documentation, and visual aids.
• Execute small-scale improvement projects focused on layout redesign and material flow.
• Collaborate with quality and engineering teams to implement Lean Manufacturing and waste reduction.
• Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Utilize CAD software and ERP systems to support production environment enhancements.

Requirements

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or process improvement concepts.
• Familiarity with CAD software, Excel, and data analysis programs.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Must be local to Jacksonville, FL
