What you will do

• Lead the design and delivery of solutions for Automated Underwriting, Risk Scoring, and Portfolio Monitoring.
• Manage, clean, and wrangle large, complex datasets from multiple sources to prepare them for predictive modeling.
• Implement advanced feature engineering, aggregation, and normalization techniques to optimize machine learning models.
• Develop and fine-tune classification, regression, and clustering models using decision trees, random forests, or neural networks.
• Build end-to-end analytical solutions from data collection to deployment to improve lending strategies.
• Present complex analytical findings and data insights to internal stakeholders and external clients.

Requirements

• Must be based in the US.
• 4+ years of experience building and validating predictive credit risk models within the financial services or lending industry.
• Expert-level proficiency in Python, specifically using Pandas and Scikit-learn.
• Advanced skills in SQL for data querying and manipulation.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong experience in model deployment, testing, validation, and monitoring.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in AWS for training and deploying models.
• Experience with MLOps practices.
