Senior Platform Engineer (Azure)

What you will do

• Design, provision, and maintain cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure (AKS, ACR, networking, storage).
• Build and operate production-grade Kubernetes clusters, focusing on day-2 operations, scaling, and security.
• Develop and evolve Infrastructure as Code (IaC) pipelines using Terraform modules and multi-environment strategies.
• Implement platform-wide observability using Prometheus and Grafana for metrics, alerting, and dashboards.
• Manage and harden Linux environments (Ubuntu/RHEL) including OS tuning and troubleshooting at scale.
• Collaborate with SRE teams to deliver self-service platforms and improve internal developer experience.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in platform, cloud, or infrastructure engineering.
• Deep expertise in Azure cloud services and architecture.
• Strong production experience with Kubernetes, including Helm, RBAC, and autoscaling.
• Proficiency with Terraform for large-scale usage and remote state management.
• Solid Linux administration and troubleshooting skills (kernel tuning, systemd).
• Hands-on experience building observability stacks with Prometheus and Grafana.

Nice to have

• Exposure to AWS services such as EC2, EKS, and IAM.
• Experience with Loki, Tempo, OpenTelemetry, or ELK.
• Familiarity with GitOps (ArgoCD, Flux), service mesh (Istio/Linkerd), or policy-as-code (OPA/Gatekeeper).
• Prior mentoring or technical leadership experience.
