What you will do

• Set technical direction for complex ML projects, balancing trade-offs and guiding team priorities.
• Design, implement, and maintain scalable ML and software systems, justifying architectural decisions.
• Define project roadmaps and oversee delivery across multiple work-streams in high-risk environments.
• Drive the development of shared resources and libraries across the organization.
• Lead hiring processes and mentor multiple engineers to foster team growth.
• Act as a technical expert and coach for customers, managing stakeholders and estimating large work-streams.

Requirements

• Expertise in Python and practical experience operationalising models using Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
• Expert knowledge of at least one major Cloud Provider (Azure, GCP, or AWS).
• Experience leading teams to build full-stack web applications.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proven ability to manage and coach engineering teams and set development goals.
• Excellent communication skills for guiding both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
