What you will do

• Develop specialized tools for AI validation, testing, explainability, and monitoring.
• Create prototype pipelines and frameworks to facilitate the testing of AI and GenAI models.
• Build and maintain reusable code libraries to automate model documentation and risk assessments.
• Implement reporting dashboards and benchmark testing templates to streamline assurance.
• Monitor and integrate emerging technologies such as LLMOps, RAG pipelines, and agent toolkits.
• Collaborate with CCOR teams to align AI advancements with data risk, cyber security, and conduct standards.

Requirements

• Professional experience in AI Model Development/Validation or a quantitative role within financial services or regulated industries (or a relevant PhD).
• Numerate degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, or equivalent.
• Strong analytical skills for the critical evaluation of complex AI systems.
• Excellent communication skills for explaining quantitative concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Must be based in the UK and able to work from the specified office locations hybridly.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in Python and AI frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, LangChain, Ollama, LlamaIndex) and SQL.
• Experience with cloud AI platforms like GCP Vertex AI, BigQuery, or Azure AI.
• Knowledge of frontend development (TypeScript, JavaScript, React) for internal dashboards.
• Experience in backend and RESTful API development for AI-driven applications.
• Familiarity with AI regulatory frameworks such as the EU AI Act, GDPR, and SS1/23.
