TL;DR

IT SOX Manager (Finance): Managing the IT General Controls program and ensuring SOX compliance for a global AI-native platform with an accent on control design, testing, and remediation. Focus on bridging the gap between external auditors and internal engineering teams to scale the IT control environment.

Location: Hybrid: Must be based in New York (in-person Tuesdays and Thursdays)

Compensation: $111,338 – $148,450

What you will do

  • Own and manage the IT General Controls (ITGC) program end-to-end, including scoping, user access reviews, and remediation tracking.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between external auditors and internal IT/engineering teams.
  • Lead IT risk assessments for new systems, integrations, and technology changes.
  • Coach internal stakeholders on SOX compliance requirements to build institutional knowledge.
  • Partner with the Director of Internal Audit on enterprise risk management, fraud risk, and operational audit initiatives.

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of experience in IT audit, IT risk advisory, or SOX IT general controls (Big 4 background strongly preferred).
  • Hands-on expertise with ITGC testing: user access reviews, change management, SDLC controls, and computer operations.
  • Deep working knowledge of SOX Section 404 requirements and PCAOB standards.
  • Ability to leverage AI tools to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of audit activities.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with both technical engineers and non-technical leadership.
  • CPA, CIA, or CISA preferred.
