Salary: $154,880–$202,400 (varies by state: CA/NY/WA $161,920–$202,400; CO $154,880–$193,600)

What you will do

  • Lead quarterly/annual ASC 740 tax provision including effective-tax-rate analysis, FIN 48 review, and disclosures.
  • Oversee federal/state income/franchise tax returns and multistate indirect-tax compliance (sales/use, gross-receipts, digital taxes).
  • Manage nexus studies, registrations, filings, and audit defense as primary contact for tax authorities/auditors.
  • Advise Accounting, FP&A, Legal, Product, and People on tax impacts of new products, structures, and expansion.
  • Identify cash-saving opportunities, implement process improvements, and design SOX-compliant controls.
  • Manage external advisors for quality/timeliness/cost and execute a three-year tax roadmap.

Requirements

  • 8+ years progressive tax experience, including 2+ years in-house at high-growth company
  • Deep ASC 740 and U.S. federal/multistate income-tax knowledge
  • Multistate indirect-tax compliance and nexus analysis experience
  • Proven management of external advisors and cross-functional influence
  • CPA or JD/LL.M. in Tax
  • Strong analytical, project-management, and communication skills

  • Health-tech, SaaS, or digital-health experience
  • Transfer pricing, Pillar Two, or international expansion exposure
  • Public company/SOX experience
