What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain back-end architecture using Golang, Node, GraphQL, and SQL.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to produce scalable software and comprehensive technical design documentation.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and leverage AWS technologies such as Lambda and Fargate for batch processing.
• Troubleshoot production issues through root cause analysis and the execution of mitigation plans.
• Coach and mentor junior engineers via detailed code reviews and technical guidance.
• Partner with senior leadership to translate technical vision into a tangible quarterly roadmap.

Requirements

• 12-15 years of software development experience in server-side applications, API servers, and data processing.
• Expertise in a compiled language such as Go, Java, or Kotlin.
• Proficiency with relational databases, specifically PostgreSQL (schema design, tuning, and monitoring).
• Proven experience designing and implementing scalable APIs and a solid understanding of design patterns.
• BS or advanced degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
• Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience working in a high-growth startup environment.
• Working knowledge of GraphQL APIs, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with the AWS platform and CI/CD pipeline automation.
