TL;DR
Senior Software Engineer (Node.js): Building and maintaining a high-performing, scalable chargeback management system with an accent on system reliability, observability, and SLOs. Location: Must be based in or near Tel Aviv, Israel (Hybrid: 3 days/week in office).

What you will do
- Develop a fully automated dispute platform to prevent, deflect, and recover chargebacks.
- Build and maintain a high-performing, scalable chargeback management system handling tens of thousands of daily requests.
- Define and optimize the scale, reliability, observability, and SLOs of the platform.
- Collaborate on the entire product lifecycle, from design to production.
- Promote high-quality engineering practices, including thorough testing and documentation.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building complex backend systems.
- Proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript.
- Experience designing and working with large-scale distributed systems.
- Experience with AWS or other public clouds.
- Significant experience with data stores and pipelines such as Kafka, Redis, ElasticSearch, and MySQL.
- Must be able to work from the Tel Aviv office at least 3 days per week.
