Software Engineer III (AI)

What you will do

• Own end-to-end feature delivery from technical design through implementation, testing, and deployment.
• Architect scalable and maintainable solutions aligned with product direction.
• Strategically use AI-assisted tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot) for planning, coding, and debugging.
• Mentor engineers on effective AI-assisted workflows and establish team-wide patterns.
• Drive improvements in development processes, tooling, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to balance technical quality with delivery speed.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of commercial software engineering experience with a track record of shipping production systems.
• Deep understanding of OOP, design patterns, and SOLID principles.
• Demonstrated experience using AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot) as a core part of the workflow.
• Ability to work effectively across the stack; .NET and React experience preferred.
• Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, and frequent code deployment.
• Must be based in or able to work 1-2x per week in the Glasgow, UK office.

Nice to have

• Experience in SaaS or healthcare software environments.
• Exposure to DevOps practices and infrastructure-as-code.
• Experience working in agile teams with short iteration cycles.
