What you will do

• Build and own scalable SaaS applications end-to-end across frontend, backend, and data layers.
• Design future-ready architectures and proactively address system gaps to ensure high availability.
• Investigate and resolve reliability and performance issues across the entire software stack.
• Champion a "shift-left" quality culture by embedding unit, integration, and contract testing early in the lifecycle.
• Leverage AI-assisted tools like GitHub Copilot and Claude to accelerate development while maintaining code correctness.
• Mentor engineers, conduct quality code reviews, and drive team-wide engineering best practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building reliable, performant applications and microservices in production.
• Proven full-stack fluency across frontend (React), backend, and database layers.
• Technical depth in domains such as distributed systems, multi-tenant SaaS, or event streaming.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
• Must be based in the UK.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Ruby on Rails, TypeScript, Node.js, or React.js.
