TL;DR

Senior Strategic Customer Success Manager (SaaS): Managing a portfolio of high-value enterprise accounts to drive adoption, retention, and expansion with an accent on strategic planning and executive engagement. Focus on aligning product capabilities with business objectives, mitigating churn risk, and influencing product direction based on customer feedback.

Location: Remote (USA). Must be authorized to work lawfully in the United States. Not available for candidates located in Alaska, Alabama, Delaware, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Iowa, West Virginia, or Rhode Island.

Salary: $133,875 – $189,000 USD (depending on metropolitan pay zone)

What you will do

  • Manage a diverse portfolio of the largest accounts ($40k+ ARR) using strategic plans to ensure adoption and long-term growth.
  • Navigate complex customer environments to identify and secure expansion opportunities across multiple business units.
  • Deliver a white-glove experience by proactively mitigating risks and building roadmaps that demonstrate measurable ROI.
  • Act as a strategic partner by aligning product configurations and integrations with specific customer business objectives.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Support to elevate the customer voice and influence the product roadmap.
  • Contribute to CS operations by developing playbooks and evolving internal processes.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Customer Success, Account Management, or Sales within a SaaS/PLG environment.
  • Proven track record of owning and growing complex Enterprise accounts with multi-team usage.
  • Ability to analyze customer data to uncover trends and drive strategic engagement outcomes.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce, Gainsight, and other professional CS management systems.
  • Must be authorized to work lawfully in the USA; no immigration sponsorship is provided.
  • Eligibility is restricted by state; cannot be located in excluded US states.
